Giles Brick and Marble has been in business for over 50 years and operates under its second generation of Giles ownership. In the early 50's, granite quarries emerged all around Stone Mountain Georgia, known for being the world's largest granite outcropping. Taking advantage of the high quality materials surrounding him, James Giles built his legacy crafting prominent granite and marble memorials for loved ones past of many Atlanta families.
His son, Jimmy Giles now owns and operates the business of supplying quality memorials for families across Georgia. While the business still holds tight to the grass roots of monuments, it has also diversified into other areas such as brick fundraising, commercial signage, government and civic park work, as well as neighborhood entrance signs.
